Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration – A Legendary Anniversary

The Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration is a special anniversary collection featuring multiple sealed boxes filled with Pokémon cards, collectible artwork, and commemorative surprises. Perfect for serious collectors and retailers, this sealed case offers a premium way to celebrate Pokémon’s legacy and expand a valuable TCG collection.

In 2026, the Pokémon Trading Card Game reaches a monumental milestone: 30 years of captivating collectors and players around the globe. To honor this legacy, The Pokémon Company International has unveiled the Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration expansion – a love letter to three decades of history and a bold step into the future.

🌍 A Historic Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration Global First

For the first time ever, a Pokémon TCG expansion will debut with a simultaneously coordinated global launch. On September 16, 2026, Trainers worldwide will crack open packs at the same moment. And if you can’t wait, the expansion arrives in Pokémon TCG Live starting September 15.

✨ An All-Foil Extravaganza

Every single card in 30th Celebration is foil – including Basic Energy. Each booster pack contains five foil Pokémon cards plus one foil Basic Energy card – a rarity that makes every pack feel premium.

⚡ 30 Pikachu, 30 Artists – One in Every Pack

The crown jewel: one of 30 unique Pikachu cards is guaranteed in every pack. Each features artwork by a different illustrator, including OKACHEKE, Yuu Nishida, and Atsuko Nishida. Collecting all 30 is a quest in itself.

🔄 30 Classic Cards Return

Celebrating history with 30 reprinted classics – including the legendary Base Set Charizard and Pikachu & Zekrom-GX from Sun & Moon – Team Up. These aren’t Standard-legal but are eligible in formats that allow original prints.

🚀 Introducing Futuristic Rare

A brand-new rarity debuts: Futuristic rare. The first two – Mew ex and Mewtwo ex – are illustrated by renowned Japanese artist YOSHIROTTEN, depicting “hope toward an unknown future”.

🎨 Day & Night Art Theme

Many cards showcase Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration during daytime and nighttime moments – from serene Lapras to nocturnal Lycanroc – adding narrative depth to the collection.111

Gotta catch ’em all – again!

Why Case Pricing Matters More Than Ever

For Pokemon TCG 30th Celebration, case buying isn’t just about bulk—it’s about guaranteed collation. Unlike standard booster boxes (which usually deliver a fixed number of hits per case), these mixed-product cases have highly variable pull rates. A pokemon 30th celebration box Booster Bundle case (60 packs) statistically yields 2–3 Futuristic Rare cards and a good spread of the 30 Pikachu variants, but there’s no guarantee you’ll complete the full Pikachu set from one case—you’ll likely need 2–3 cases for a master set.

The “All-Foil” Factor dramatically increases production costs, which is why pack-per-dollar ratios are higher than usual. At MSRP, the Booster Bundle case offers the best cost-per-pack ($4.49), but you forfeit the exclusive promos and accessories found in ETB cases. Serious collectors often buy one ETB case (for the Nidorina promos and sleeves) plus one Booster Bundle case (for raw pack volume) to balance collectibility and opening value.
